Plot Synopsis:
It’s the story of two friends Keshav and Saurabh. Professionally they both worked together at CyberSafe, a cybersecurity company. They also ran a detective agency named Z Detectives which was their side hustle.
Both were best buddies, apparently as their fights grew they stopped talking to each other. Moreover, Saurabh was getting married very soon, so he was planning to leave the flat and move out.
Saurabh met Prerna in an arranged marriage setup. Prerna belonged to a Punjabi joint family and lived in New Friends Colony. She was ambitious and career-minded. She had her own food delivery startup named Eato and was doing great.
Everything was perfect for the new loving couple. They were deeply connected and fell in love and later got engaged.
One Arranged Murder Mystery & Review:
Prerna being Saurabh’s fiancé and to show her love, keeps the Karva Chauth fast. Also, asked him to meet her on the house terrace.
When Saurabh came to meet her, he was worried when he could not find her on the terrace. He was shocked to know she fell from the terrace and died. Everyone declared it to be an accident. Later after the probe, it was surprising to know that it wasn’t an accident but a well-planned murder.
This book is a one-time read and definitely hooks the reader with the plot. Anyone who loves mystery and thriller novels can pick the book. The overall experience of reading this book is good. However, it is not one of the best thriller or mystery books but definitely a good read.
The murder mystery is solved and the murderer turned out to be someone who you would never expect. The twists and surprises are well written. The character is well described and fits in the plot wonderfully.
You need not worry if you have not read the book “Girl in room 105“. It’s not a sequel to the book. However the character Keshav is also in the story but the plot of the book is not connected with each other.
Recommendation:
Anyone looking for suspense and mystery tales can grab this book. This book will not disappoint you as it will bind you to the story till the end.
