Synopsis:
The Alchemist is a story of a boy named Santiago. His parents had always wanted him to become a priest. However, Santiago desired to travel places.
To fulfill his wish, he became a shepherd instead of a priest. He traveled to different places, met new people, and had a great life.
Santiago traveled with his flock of sheep. He earned money by shearing the wool and selling them to the merchants. He lived a happy life, a life he always wanted.
One night he was sleeping under the sycamore (Tree). He dreamed of finding a treasure in the Pyramids of Egypt.
He had these dreams before as well. Therefore, he decides to interpret the meaning of his recurring dreams.
With a lot of hesitation and confusion visited an old lady who could predict the future.
After listening to his dream, the lady asked him to go to the Pyramids. She told him to follow the path, and there he will find the hidden treasure.
However, in return, she asked for one-tenth of the amount of treasure he would find. To which Santiago agreed as he didn’t have to pay her at that very moment.

The Alchemist: Book Review
The Alchemist is a beautiful, fictional story full of magic. The adventure will surely amuse you. Paulo Coelho has a unique way of storytelling embedded with life lessons.
Every page you turn will excite you and take you to different places of adventure. A book worth buying. A book worth reading. I must say it is one of the thought-provoking and life-changing books.
My thoughts: The path towards achieving your dreams is never easy. Only those who are determined can enjoy the pleasure of achieving their dreams.
All we need to do is, chase it. Go after it till you realize it.
Remember, there will be a problem and obstacles in the way, but you don’t have to give up.
You need focus and determination. Once you decide to follow your visions whole universe will guide and help in achieving them.
Also, during the course, you will be meet people you need. They will help you learn new things and mold you into the person you are meant to become.
My Favorite Section: When Santiago was about to give up on his dreams.
He was happy with his prevailing life. Being the counselor of the tribe, he had a respectful job and made good money. By now, he met Fatima, the love of her life. He wanted to marry her and settle down. He had everything he thought would make him happy.
But Then Fatima guided him. She asked him to follow his dream.
She convinced him by stating that all that he has now, can wait. But, if he misses the only chance to achieve his dream. It will haunt him with regret of not making an effort after coming so close to realizing his dream.
So, Fatima understood and motivated him to follow his destined path.

This book is something every individual irrespective of their age can enjoy it.
Also, it’s never too late to fulfill your dreams. So, this book is for all age groups.
This book will pump you up to jump off your comfortable places and start working towards accomplishing your dreams.
Although it’s a fictional story, yet so relatable. This book is also for those who like reading adventure fiction books. Book will not disappoint you as it is full of magic and adventure.
I would highly recommend the young minds to read it. They should not miss the opportunity to read such a majestic book.
